Tammy the Silent Coward

Here is what a leading Democrat said today, as reported on the blog of the Wall Street Journal:


"A leading Democratic lawmaker lashed out at the former leaders of Germany and France, calling former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder a 'political prostitute,' " the Associated Press reports from Washington:

"I am so glad that the era of Jacques Chirac and Chancellor Schroeder in Germany is now gone," [California's Rep. Tom] Lantos said to applause. He said when the United States asked Schroeder to support its decision to go to war in Iraq "he told us where to go."

"I referred to him as a political prostitute, now that he's taking big checks from (Russian President Vladimir) Putin. But the sex workers in my district objected, so I will no longer use that phrase," Lantos said. . . .

Lantos said Chirac "should go down to the Normandy beaches. He should see those endless rows of white marble crosses and stars of David representing young Americans who gave their lives for the freedom of France."

He said under the successors of Schroeder and Chirac, Angela Merkel in Germany and Nicolas Sarkozy in France, relations with the United States "will take a very positive turn"

A few years ago Donald Rumsfeld was disparaging "old Europe" while Lantos's fellow Democrats were accusing the Bush administration of alienating America's allies, most notably Germany and France. It looks as though Rumsfeld was right, and the allies have come around, to the extent that they are capable of doing so. Once again, reports of the Bush administration's failure were greatly exaggerated.

When will Baldwin say the same?

Never.

Merely another reason that Tammy needs to go.

Tammy loves Obey & Murtha

When Congressman Murtha got into a shouting match over a pet "earmark" and the Republicans challenged him, seeking to have him reprimanded by the House, Tammy Baldwin was a loyal vote to save Murtha, a Congressman with a very dubious past. (He was the one who refused a bribe from Arabs because it wasn't yet the right time -- seems he might have been holding out for more).

Now David Obey, another Wisconsin Democrat, has invented a new way to "clean up the House:" hide earmarks, so no one can see them. Instead of allowing them to be challenged on the House floor -- which is what got Murtha in trouble -- Obey wants to hide them until the bill to which the earmark is attached is in conference committee, at a point where it is way to late to make a challenge.

Why?

Because the Democrats are corrupt, and earmarks are their way of buying votes.

Where's Tammy.

Where else -- in Murtha and Obey's pocket.

So today we e-mailed her asking for her position.

Tammy, the Criminal, and the PuppetMaster

Represntative Jefferson has now been indicted -- for nefarious acts far beyond the cool (because it was in his home freezer) ninty grand in marked money the FBI found when it executed a search warrant at Jefferson's home last year.

But with that as a credential, Nancy Pellosi quietly gave Jefferson a plum committee job -- on the committee that governs homeland security and is, by virtue of that, privy to top secret plans for preventing the next 9/11.

Where was Tammy?

Was Tammy protesting that this dude was a security risk?

Was Tammy demanding the same treatment that was given to Tom DeLay?

Or was Tammy quietly bunched up, beneath Ms. Pellosi's wings, promising to bear witness to the Emily's List code of conduct: I do what you tell me to do.

In the law, there's a concept called an accessory after the fact. It's someone that tries to help the criminal get away with it.

That would be Tammy.

Crook, once removed.

Will Tammy rescue the school board from Vang?

The feds control the schools and the teacher's union controls the feds -- or at least the Democrats.

So, will Tammy Baldwin do something about the efforts of the Madison School Board to name a school after a Hmong criminal?

She should.

All it would take is a little law prohibiting federal funding to entities that attempt to name schools after murders and attempted murderers.

What could be wrong with that?

Or is she in favor of such people?

Is Tammy a Puppet or a Clone?

When it comes to the war in Iraq,to raising taxes, or to anything that Nancy Pellosi wants, Tammy is there.

Is the Speaker giving aid and comfort to the enemy by visiting Syria and selling out Israel?

Tammy is silent.

Is the Speaker being anti-Semetic?

Well - that point was put directly to Congressman Baldwin.

She didn't anwer.

A simple yes or no would do.

Either the Speaker's false statement in Syria were a sll-out of Israel or they weren't Either the lies that Rep. Pelosi told were a designed effort to hurt Israel or they weren't.

Why can't Tammy answer which it is?

Does she not enjoy the Speaker's confidence?

Or is she merely taken for granted?
